Freespire is the bastard, NON-community-driven stepchild of Linspire. There IS no 100% free version, because KC and the Sunshine Boys decided it would go away. KC has also made a deal acknowledging unspecified patent liabliities with Microsoft, changed the EULA of Linspire from all the PCs in ones house to ONE machine only, and continually trumpets ANY and ALL items done by Linspire Inc. as the Second Coming. This is a distro to be avoided, shunned, discouraged from use, and ignored.

    That looks amazing!

I fully agree with Egon Spengler, this also counts for SUSE and Xandros. No matter how great their distro’s are. For example I’ve been a fan of SUSE and openSUSE for almost a decade.

But they choose the dark side and thus the dark side is what they’ll get.

… The wrath of the community😀

And I’m sorry, it doesn’t look that amazing at all. It’s simply a Windows XP look alike KDE. No matter what distro you are using, you are able to pimp your KDE as much as you desire. The website http://www.kde-look.org provides all the required stuff.

I agree with Egon (after all he is a ghostbuster & all) if you want a Windows XP lookalike so much – why not run windows xp?
